Radhe Jaggi's Bharatanatyam For A Cause In Philadelphia

Philadelphia TANA team organized Cauvery Calling Bharathanatyam Performance by Radhe Jaggi, award-winning Bharatanatyam dancer and daughter of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on Thursday, October 31st in Bharatiya Temple, PA. Being a weekday and Halloween more than 200 people attended the event.

This event was organized in association with Isha Foundation, Radhe Jaggi performed a series of four dances, each varying in character and style. Radhe’s expressivity, versatility and talent shone through in her captivating performance. Throughout the evening, she also gave the audience an insight into the stories behind her dances, her dance style more generally, and the relationship between dancer and music.

Following the performance, a documebtary video on “Cauvery Calling” was screened to the audience followed by a inspirational speech by Radhe Jaggi explaining the necessity of revitalizing Cauvery river. She provided the audience with the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the speech. This event was sponsored by TANA Secretary Ravi Potluri who also donated 500$ towards the Cauvery Calling initiatuve. Lalitha Setty and Satish Tummala coordinated the event.
