TANA Atlanta in association with Indian American council organized food drive at the Atlanta food bank. Next generation kids starting from age 8 enthusiastically volunteered in sorting, packing and labelling the food items. Approximately 7500 pounds of food items were dispatched for the needy and this effort sums up to 5000 meals. “This is one of the many ways to encourage next generation to participate in noble causes. TANA has pledged to do more activities to involve next generation kids for giving back to the community where we live in” said TANA EVP Lavu Anjaiah Chowdary in a statement. TANA President Jay Talluri commended TANA Atlanta’s efforts.
