Telugu Association of London (TAL) has conducted the 8th Annual Volleyball Tournament in Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, Brentford in London on 25th January 2020. TAL has started another sporting year 2020 with Volleyball Tournament and many more sporting events such as badminton and the prestigious TAL Premier League to follow, for Telugu people in and around London. TAL Sports trustee Murali Thadiparthi, Chairman Sridhar Somisetty, Sports Executives Sunil Nagandla and Rajesh Veeramachineni congratulated the winning teams for their true display of sporting spirit and skills. The EAGLES emerged as the winners, who excelled in their game as the tournament progressed to knock-out stages. Best player of the tournament was awarded to Praveen of Rocking Royals team for his exceptional play. The Rocking Royals team have claimed the Runners up cup while the COOL CRUISERS stood as the 2nd Runners-up in the tournament. The tournament was played by more than 60 Telugu players in 6 teams, more than 30 games were played in the tournament. TAL Sports Trustee Murali Thadiparthi has praised all players for their sportsmanship and commitment towards the sport. He invited all players to continue their support to sport and to the community. He requested everyone to encourage kids and youth to participate in sport and to be active, competitive and healthy. Murali has specially thanked the event Sports Executive Sunil Nagandla and coordinators Vamsi Sunki, Rajesh Veeramachaneni, Ravinder Reddy Goparaju, Vinay, Shyam Bheemreddy, Ravi Sabba, Praveeen Sabba also the other volunteers who played a key role in successfully organising the event.
తాల్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 8వ వార్షిక వాలీబాల్ పోటీలు లండన్లో జనవరి 25న జయప్రదంగా నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి. అత్యంత ఉత్కంఠతతొ సాగిన ఫైనల్లో ”ఈగిల్స్” టీమ్ విజేతగా, “రాకింగ్ రాయల్స్” రన్నర్స్ అప్ గా నిలిచాయి. “కూల్ క్రూసర్స్” మూడో స్థానంని కైవసం చేసుకుంది. “రాకింగ్ రాయల్స్” కి చెందిన ఆటగాడు ప్రవీణ్ అద్భుతంగా ఆడి బెస్ట్ ప్లేయర్ అఫ్ ది టోర్నమెంట్ అవార్డు అందుకున్నాడు. 6 జట్టులలో 60 మంది తెలుగు క్రీడాకారులు సుమారు 30 గేమ్స్ నిరాటంకంగా ఆడి క్రీడాభిమానులకి కన్నుల పండువుగా చేశారు. తాల్ స్పోర్ట్స్ ట్రస్టీ మురళి తాడిపర్తి, ఈ పోటీలో ఆడిన ప్రతి వారిని వారి క్రీడా స్ఫూర్తికి మరియు నిబద్ధతకు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. ఈ పోటీలు విజవంతం కావడానికి ఏంతో కృషి చేసిన సమన్వయకర్తలు సునీల్ నాగండ్ల, రాజేష్ వీరమాచినేనికి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. అదే విధంగా స్వయంసేవకులు వంశి సుంకు, రవీంద్ర రెడ్డి, వినయ్, శ్యామ్, ప్రవీణ్ సబ్బ మరియు ఇతర కార్యకర్తల సహాయాన్ని ప్రశంశించారు. తాల్ చైర్మన్ శ్రీధర్ సోమిశెట్టి, స్పోర్ట్స్ ట్రస్టీ మురళి తాడిపర్తి, ట్రస్టీ రాజేష్ తోలేటి, సంస్థాపక సభ్యులు శ్రీధర్ వనం, సంజయ్ బైర్రాజు, సూర్య కందుకూరి, రవి సబ్బ మరియు ఉగాది కన్వీనర్ రవీంద్ర రెడ్డి విజేతలు బహుమతులు అందచేశారు. త్వరలో జరగబోయే తాల్ బాడ్మింటన్ పోటీలు, తాల్ ప్రీమియం లీగ్ (క్రికెట్ ) లని కూడా విజయవంతం చెయ్యాలని మురళి తాడిపర్తి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
