క్యాన్సర్ క్యాంపులు గ్రంథాలయాల సంఖ్య పెంచేందుకు కృషి చేస్తా-TNIతో మద్దినేని వినయ్

తానా ఫౌండేషన్ ట్రస్టీగా తనను గెలిపిస్తే క్యాన్సర్ నిర్ధారణ శిబిరాలు, గ్రంథాలయాల సంఖ్య పెంచేందుకు కృషి చేస్తానని శృంగవరపు నిరంజన్ ప్యానెల్ నుండి ఆ పదవికి బరిలో ఉన్న ప్రవాసాంధ్ర ప్రముఖుడు మద్దినేని వినయ్ TNIతో అన్నారు. నెల్లూరుకు చెందిన ఆయన తన అభ్యర్థిత్వాన్ని బలపరచాలని కోరుతున్నారు. తానా ఫౌండేషన్ ద్వారా అనాథ శరణాలయాలు, ఉపకారవేతనాలు, కంటి వైద్య శిబిరాలు వంటి వాటి విస్తృతి పెంచేందుకు కూడా చొరవ తీసుకుంటానని ఆయన అన్నారు. 1998లో అమెరికాకు వచ్చిన ఆయన 2002 నుండి తానాలో పరోక్ష పాత్ర పోషిస్తున్నారు. 2017-19 మధ్య తానా తెలుగు భాషా వ్యాప్తి కమిటీకి ఉపాధ్యక్షుడిగా, 2019-21 మధ్య కౌన్సిల్ ఎట్ లార్జ్‌గా సేవలందించారు. అట్లాంటాలో స్థిరపడిన ఆయన స్థానిక తెలుగు సంఘం మెట్రో అట్లాంటా తెలుగు సంఘం తామాకు అధ్యక్షుడిగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వర్తించారు. ఆయన నిర్వహించిన పలు సేవా కార్యక్రమాలకు సంబంధించిన మరిన్ని వివరాలు దిగువ చూడవచ్చు….

* Currently serving as TANA Councilor at large.
* Co-chair of Telugu Language Promotion Committee 2017-2019.
* Played a key role in conducting Financial Planning Seminar, Tax Seminar, and CPR Training as part of TANA Cares initiative.
* Volunteered in TANA programs Cooking & Feeding Hungry program with SEWA, Backpack program, Secret Santa, Meditation Seminar, Yoga Workshop and Homage to President Abdul Kalam.
* Chairman, Board of Directors, Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA), 2019.
* President, Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA), 2015.
* As president of TAMA, partnered with TANA in conducting DhimTANA and Bone Marrow drives.
* Played Key role in planning & execution of 1st TANA Foundation 5k Walk hosting more than 400 community members to support Manavoorikosam initiative.
* Played in a key role in TAMA 30th year celebrations.
* Volunteered for TANA 25th anniversary celebrations.
* Played active role in Fundraising for 2015 Detroit convention.
* Supported TANA conventions since 2001.
* Played a phenomenal role to support the Victims of Apartment Fire accident in Atlanta by working with the Apartment management to secure the documents and other valuables.
* Worked with Indian consulate and other community organizations in conducting International Day of yoga.
* Co-chair security committee for ATA 2012 convention in Atlanta, also helped set up the convention newsletter.
* One of the early volunteers who was involved in the initial cleanup during the establishment of Saibaba Temple. I have also volunteered extensively during the Prana Prathistha Celebrations at the temple and other events on a regular basis.
* Organized and volunteered in many Bone Marrow drives at TAMA and other local and National organizations.
* Volunteered for IACA , the oldest Indian American organization in Atlanta for events like Festival of India and Atlanta Idol.
* Volunteered for various events in Hindu Temple of Atlanta like Atirudram, Navodaya (New Year Celebrations), and Ganesh Chaturthi.
* Key volunteer for the successful organization of Keeravani Fundraiser which raised money for TAMA long term projects.
* Due to my passion for promoting the Telugu language I have been a continuous volunteer for the TAMA Manabadi from its inception. I am also proud to say that my son also attends Manabadi.
