Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas has been actively supporting the frontline communities during the pandemic. In an effort to help administer the COVID19 vaccine in Dallas, Texas, TPAD collaborated with Texoma Pharmacy, for administering the COVID19 vaccine.
To facilitate administering the vaccine to the residents in Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Allen and McKinney area, volunteers of TPAD has supported by performing administration tasks like scheduling, check-in of vaccine recipients. This has helped the local residents to take advantage of the opportunity to take vaccine on a weekend day without interfering with work.
Anuradha Mekala coordinated the vaccination effort and arranged scheduling of the vaccine recipients with Texoma Pharmacy. About 96 people took advantage of the vaccination drive.
The vaccination blood drive was guided by Rao Kalvala, Raghuveer Bandaru, Madhavi Sunkireddy, Ravikanth Mamidi and Goli Buchi Reddy and supported by Chandra Police, Roopa Kannaygari, Lakshmi Poreddy, , Manjula Todupunoori, Indu Pancherupula, Vijay Todupunoori, Pavan Gangadhara, Pandu Palwai, Ashok Kondala, Ram Annadi, Linga Reddy Alva, Rathna Vuppala, Roja Adepu, Sridhar Vemula and Jaya Telakalapalli.
TPAD leadership said, it is advisable to make use of the vaccine to minimize the effect of the COVID19 virus and TPAD will come forward if there is a need to conduct another vaccine drive to help the community.
