TANA Donates Backpacks To Needy Kids In DFW

TANA Donates Backpacks to needy children in Fort Worth (Dallas).

Telugu Association of North America organized Backpack donation program in Fort Worth Independent School District, Fort Worth, TX on Saturday August 14th 2021. More than 400 backpacks were distributed to the needy kids in the in Fort Worth Independent School District donated by TANA DFW Team and this event was organized in the memory of late Dr.Gorrepati Navaneetha Krishna (TANA Past President). So far more than 500 backpacks distributed to Dallas area schools by TANA DFW team.

Sateesh Kommana, Regional Coordinator of TANA for DFW area coordinated the event along with TANA Board of Director Murali Vennam, Councilor at Large Lokesh Naidu, committee member Lenin Talluri with the support from DFW TANA Team.

Mattie Parker, Fort Worth Mayor, who attended as a chief guest appreciated and thanked TANA for this gesture of support and kindness which will provide the much needed initiative and good start for the needy families with children getting back to school.
TANA DFW team is looking forward to organize many more such charitable events in future.
