High Commission of India, and Indian community organisations celebrated India Day at London.. Telanagana Association of United Kingdom (TAUK) represented Telangana State by a separate stall setup at the event.

Programme started with High Commissioner Ruchi Ghyanshyam unfurled the National Flag and addressed the crowd.

Thousands of Indian community members converged from all parts of UK to make this day a great success. Community organisations put up nearly 80 stalls offering various regions cuisines of India and put up a rich display of cultural programmes showcasing the cultural heritage of India.

TAUK stall was special attraction to the crowd as it is resembled Telangana Historical Kakatiya Kala thoranam at the stall entrance, Telangana State History, Culture, Tourism, Development, Telangana Leadership, Telangana government achievements, Schemes …are displayed in the stall with relevant data, TAUK members explained to public who visited the stall.

Once Gain TAUK Pledged to support Telangana Governments and special efforts of Minister KTR to support weavers, arranged a pledge stand to public to support and #Wearhandloom #wesupporthandloom.

As we are aware Rajysabha MP Joginapali Santhosh Kumar has initiated a Nation wide campaign #GreenIndiaChallenge to plant saplings. TAUK has setup a separate arrangements in the stall to bring awareness about this much needed useful campaign, they also prepared selfie stand to take pledge to take it forward and join the mission.

Secretary Malla Reddy said “ There was a huge support for #WearHandloom and #GreenIndiaChallange campaign and widely appreciated by the guests and community.

Indian High Commissioner Ruchi Ghanshyam and British Parliament Member Virendra visited “Telangana Stall” and appreciated TAUK members for their efforts in marketing telangana on global platform, they also said it is very inspiring to others.

Telangana NRIs visited and appreciated special Telangana stall, also conveyed Kakatiya Kala Thoranam entrance is beautiful and resembles of Telangana.

Everyone took Selfies as they believed it was like tourist place.

High Commissioner Ruchi Ghyanshyam and Minister of coordination Narang specially Appreciated Malla Reddy for their creativity and efforts in making of Kaktiya Kala Thoranm Entrance to Stall.

Secretary Rakesh Patel said, Hyderabad special Biryani was served to all the guests who visited the stall and the huge response has encouraged us to do many more such activities to promote Telangana on global platform.
